I got the opportunity to make an animation for the collaboration between Loop Earplugs and Tomorrowland. I was really excited to be handed this project for Studio Plankton! I made a mood board to clearify my vision for the project. The client was directly on the same page, which was a great way to start.
The model of the case and earplugs were provided by the client, I made the textures for the golden details. Since the models existed, I directly made a storyboard of 3D stills and an animatic to get a feel of the potential animation.
Once we’ve reached a concensus about the atmosphere, it was all about finetuning the different movements and lighting in each shot. I’m really happy with the smooth process to get to this nice result.
