This is a personal project. I wanted to build a scale model of one of my favorite subjects, a light house.
I explored some light houses by searching references and making sketches. And developed a vague idea on paper for the shape of the scale model.
The basic shapes of the light house grew organic during the process of cutting and glueing. I decided to make a rough blockout from thick cardboard boxes.
This is the current state of the lighthouse. Next step is to plan and execute the details and the lights that’ll bring the lighthouse to life..
